In February, I was briefly hospitalized for an episode of acute hypertension which was followed up with drug treatment that was not satisfactory to me. I felt I needed treatment that addressed the cause of my hypertension and thought that acupuncture might be right for me.
Therefore, I contacted Dr. Lisa (Yuehui Li) Zhou who prescribed acupuncture and herbs. Not only did this help accomplish a major reduction in blood pressure, it also effected a noticeable improvement in my sleep.
I was aware that treatment of hypertension is difficult, even with employing acupuncture, but felt that Dr. Lisa (Yuehui Li) Zhou’s experience and training might make her qualified to successfully treat me.
